The desert fox from the schleich® WILD LIFE theme world lives in the desert of North Africa. It has excellent hearing and, thanks to its good hearing, can even track down prey that lives underground. It also gives off body heat through its large ears, making it perfectly adapted to the high temperatures of its habitat. This small predator mainly eats insects, small rodents, reptiles, birds and fruits. The desert fox is also called fennec fox. Schleich figures are reproduced true to life and always to scale.
