Farmer Boris and the broken leg

"Farmer Boris and the Broken Leg" is a charming picture book in the successful series by Ted van Lieshout and Philip Hopman. In this installment, brother Berend has to go to the hospital with a broken leg.

Oh dear, brother Berend has fallen from the apple tree and broken his leg! He's taken to the hospital by ambulance. Having to stay overnight, he feels very lonely. The next day, Boris and his little sister Sam thankfully come to visit. But of course, Berend misses the animals the most. Farmer Boris wouldn't be Farmer Boris if he didn't have a solution: with a large crane, he hoists the farm animals right up to the hospital window.
