Farmer Boris and the Snowman

The most famous little farmer in the Netherlands celebrates the holidays in 'Farmer Boris and the Snowman', the eighteenth installment in the wildly popular picture book series by Ted van Lieshout and Philip Hopman. In 'Farmer Boris and the Snowman', Farmer Boris and the rest of the farm experience an unforgettable winter adventure. The entire farm is in the festive spirit when the fields are covered with a beautiful white blanket just before Christmas. It is snowing! Farmer Boris, Sam, and Berend naturally build a snowman. They give him a nose and name him Bob. But alas, the snow eventually melts again, and that is the sad prospect for poor snowman Bob. The three do whatever it takes to save Bob. But suddenly, their daring plans are disrupted by a flying sleigh... Since 2012, Ted van Lieshout and Philip Hopman have been working tirelessly on their series of books about Farmer Boris, Sam, Berend, and the farm. The two form a true top duo: Ted received the Theo Thijssen Prize in 2009 and Philip Hopman won the Max Velthuijs Prize in 2022, each for their awe-inspiring oeuvre.
