999 Games Metropolis Card Game

Challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards serve as both buildings and currency. Each round, you build 1 building (and sometimes 2) from your hand and pay the costs using other hand cards. Each building generates income in the form of cards and/or points. Slowly but surely, a city begins to take shape before you. Many buildings influence one another or are a prerequisite for building other buildings. This creates interesting choices and chain reactions. The player who scores the most points with their buildings at the end of the game is the winner. Metropolis lasts only 20 minutes, making it ideal for playing in between other activities. Game features • Ages 10+ • 2 to 5 players • Game duration approx. 20 minutes
