A pirate variant of Catan for children who find the base game a bit too difficult. However, this simplified version of the most popular trading game of recent years offers enough challenge to captivate adults as well. The players are pirates trying to conquer the island by building their forts and ships there. This requires resources, which they can earn by rolling dice, just like in the base game. If they do not have the right resources, they can trade with fellow players, ports, the bank, and at the market. The ghost pirate can spoil everything by snatching away hard-earned resources! The first player to build all their forts wins the game.
