The cards have a 'light side' allowing you to play classic UNO and a 'dark side' where the penalties are super severe. Play the FLIP card and all cards in your hand, the draw pile, and other cards are flipped over, revealing a completely new set of numbers and colors on the other side. The player holding the FLIP card decides whether to play with the light or the dark side of the cards. The dark side of the cards contains numerous action cards that shake things up considerably, such as Draw Five and Skip Everyone.
