Raiders of Scythia - Board Game

Centuries ago, the Greek, Persian, and Assyrian empires possessed vast amounts of land and wealth. Despite their fortresses and imposing armies, rumors circulated of a formidable enemy from the region north of the Black Sea.

The fierce warriors, both men and women, arrived on horseback. They were skilled with sword, bow, and axe. But they were not uncivilized barbarians. Their skilled craftsmen were renowned for their elaborate gold trinkets. They also crafted leather armor and developed the recurve bow. They trained eagles for hunting and war. Some even believe that the Greek tales of the Amazons are based on them. But they were more than a legend or fable. They were the Raiders of Scythia.

The player with the most victory points (VP) at the end of the game wins. Victory points can be earned by raiding and plundering settlements, and by completing missions. You'll need to hire warriors, train animals, and stock up on supplies. The game ends when there are only two plunder fields or two missions left on the board.
