This old Dutch Goose Board game brings fun for the whole family! What is the purpose of goose boards? Be the first to take your goose through the maze to the finish. But watch out, dodge the obstacles you encounter along the way! This Goose Board game is suitable for the whole family.

Goose board rules

The Ganzenbord rules are simple. The game starts by choosing a goose and then each rolling one of the dice. The player who throws the highest number of points starts.

The players now take turns throwing both dice. The number of eyes indicates how many squares the goose can move forward. If you roll a 4 and a 5 in your first turn, you can go directly to square 53. If you roll a 3 and a 6 in the first turn, you can put your goose on square 26.

Did you land on the image of the goose during the game? Then advance the number of points on the game board one more time. Will you land on one of the special squares? Follow the separate Goose Board rules that apply to these squares. If another player's goose is already on a space, stay on your old space.

The Goose Board game ends when one player manages to get exactly on square 63 in the last throw. If this is not possible and you have thrown more than the required number of eyes, you have to count backwards from square 63. If you then land on a space with a goose, you go back the number of eyes thrown.
