Discover the Asian bird kingdom! In this new installment of Wingspan, we go in search of new birds on the Asian continent. 90 new bird species make their appearance, along with new bonus cards and other extras. Deploy birds in your personal sanctuaries and score points by getting them to work together as effectively as possible. This version of Wingspan can be played with two players. The game includes rules for the new “Duet” variant. In this variant, you score extra points using a tableau of bird traits. As soon as you play a bird, you cover the corresponding trait on the tableau for bonus points. This makes for a challenging game for two, full of tactical choices. But Wingspan: Asia can also be played as an expansion to the base game. In fact, with the extra game material, an extra-large game with as many as 7 players can be played! This utilizes the “Flock” variant. In this game variant, two players take turns simultaneously at all times, and the group of players is divided into two. Each group has its own birdhouse and card supply, but both groups play together with the same objective tiles. So whether you want to try a new experience for two players or turn it into a big bird party for seven, this expansion is a must for Wingspan fans!
