999 Games Metropolis Card Game

Challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards are both buildings and currency. Each round you build 1 building (and sometimes 2 buildings) from your hand and pay the costs in other hand cards. Each building provides income in the form of cards and/or points. Slowly but surely, a city is created for you. Many buildings influence each other or are a condition for building other buildings. This creates interesting choices and chain reactions. Whoever has scored the most points with their buildings at the end of the game is the winner. Metropolis only takes 20 minutes and is therefore ideal for in between.
