Set 1300 years after the events of "How to Train Your Dragon," dragons are nothing but legend in the modern world. When a geological anomaly opens a massive rift in the Earth's surface, scientists from around the world gather at a new research facility to investigate the mysterious phenomenon. Soon, a group of misfits, brought to the facility by their parents, discovers the truth about dragons and their lairs—a secret they must keep to protect what they've discovered. D'Angelo is the son of a former soldier who now heads security at the ICARIS lab. D'Angelo is good-natured and highly disciplined. His greatest fear is disappointing his parents. With a keen interest in veterinary medicine, he quickly becomes the group's so-called dragon doctor. D'Angelo's dragon, Plowhorn, is a one-eyed Gembreaker-class dragon. Because she was the smallest of her pack, Plowhorn was rejected by her family. D'Angelo's compassion and trust gradually help her break down her walls, and the duo soon discovers they love destroying things together. In addition to movable legs and a lower jaw, the Playmobil Plowhorn figure also features hinged wing shells. When flipped up, these reveal transparent wings. A small horn on D'Angelo's head serves as a clamp for riding. Plowhorn can use its horn to blow up the large crystal. The playset includes Dragons: The Nine Realms characters D'Angelo Baker and his dragon Plowhorn, a crystal rock to detonate, a doctor's kit, a stethoscope, a backpack, and many other great extras.
