Schleich WILD LIFE Emperor Penguin 14841

The penguin from the Schleich WILD LIFE theme world is an emperor penguin. It's the largest and heaviest of all penguins. It's also the only one that lives so far south in Antarctica. Emperor penguins don't build nests but breed directly on the ice. Once the female has laid her egg, she returns to the sea to dive for fish. The male incubates the egg. He places the egg on his feet and folds his belly over it to keep it warm. Schleich figures are faithfully reproduced and always to scale.
