At the base of the beak, the swan from schleich® FARM WORLD has a striking black knob. This swan owes its name to this. The large birds belong to the duck family and prefer to live near lakes and ponds. There they feed on aquatic plants and small animals. When looking for food they goby upside down with their long necks in the water. Once a year they moult to get rid of their old feathers and replace them with new ones.
