The Ceratosaurus from the Schleich DINOSAURS theme world was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period. The two bumps by its eyes and the large bump on its nose were made of bone. It used them in fights or to frighten off rivals. It also had numerous small, spiky bones on its back. Its many bumps and plates gave it its name: Ceratosaurus means horned lizard. Schleich figures are faithfully reproduced and always to scale. All figures are hand-painted, ensuring they always accurately reflect reality.
