A dice and chance game for 2 or more players. The aim of the game is to close as many or all of the numbers on the playing field as possible. The player who succeeds in turning over all of the numbers is the winner! If no number is closed, these numbers are added together and the player with the fewest points wins.
The rules of Shut The Box are quite simple. The aim of the game is to get as few points as possible, or to turn over all of the tiles in the game. A player may get a maximum of 45 minus points. After that, the player must leave the game and the other participants continue playing the game.
The player whose turn it is must put all of the boards with numbers upright. He then throws two dice. Then a result follows from the two stones. This result must be knocked over in boards. There are various ways to knock over boards. For example, if you throw an eight, you can use the following options:
Knock over one board of eight; Turn over a six- and two-board;
Turn over a three- and five-board;
Turn over a one- and seven-board
A turn lasts until the active player can no longer make combinations. In that case, the turn passes to someone else. When all high boards are out of play, the player may continue to throw one die, so that he can also play away the boards of six or lower.
The aim of the game is to put down all boards during the game. In this case, the player does not receive any minus points. If the player whose turn it is can no longer make a combination, the turn is over. He must then add up all the boards. These are minus points. If there are more than 45 minus points, he is out of the game. The one with the fewest minus points wins.
