Triple/3-ply macrame yarn made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. This strong macrame cord is ideal for knotting larger projects such as wall hangings, hanging baskets, and netting bags. Macrame is an ancient technique that uses strong yarn or rope to tie various types of knots, which then form different patterns. You can learn how to make some of these knots with our technique videos. The activity requires almost no tools other than the macrame rope/cord, although it helps to use a special macrame board/clipboard for your knotting projects.

At the end of a project, the ends can be frayed and combed for a different look.
