The Hungry Crocodile

Several groups of animals are thirsty for water on a hot African day. Yet, they stand hesitantly at the edge of the pool. The flamingos don't understand this. When they make preparations to enter the water, the other animals warn them about the eager crocodile. But the flamingos aren't afraid. When the crocodile threatens them, they warn it that it will get the hiccups if it eats them. This works, and so other animals enter the water as well, addressing the nearsighted crocodile with the exact same words. This works again and again, until the crocodile becomes suspicious.
