Pearl Harbor Children's Book

December 1941 Best friends Frank and Stanley live in Hawaii. Their fathers are stationed at the Pearl Harbor naval base and they lead a carefree life. But one day, when the boys are given a tour of the battleship USS Utah, disaster strikes. Out of nowhere, Japanese planes roar overhead, firing shots and dropping bombs. Frank and Stanley take cover and slowly the shocking reality dawns on them. The United States declares war on Japan and the boys' friendship is also put under pressure. Stanley is Japanese-American, which makes him "the enemy" in the eyes of most people. Will Frank and Stanley be able to survive this infamous day and will their friendship withstand so much division and prejudice?
