After the success of the cardboard edition of "I Want My Hat Back" by Bronzen Griffel winner Jon Klassen, a similarly substantial edition of "This Hat Is Not Mine" was inevitable. In the delightfully thick "This Hat Is Not Mine," Jon Klassen's dry wit is at its finest. A small fish has a hat that isn't his. He stole it from a big fish. The big fish was asleep when the little fish stole his hat, but what if he woke up? Will the big fish come after him when he realizes his hat is gone? To be safe, the little fish swims away as quickly as possible and hides where no one can find him. No one? Jon Klassen received a Bronzen Griffel in 2022 for "The Rock from Above," translated by Edward van de Vendel.
