Everyone knows by now that reading is important for development. But that reading is also good for the very, very little ones—that is something many people do not yet know. At birth, eyes are not yet fully developed, so they can only perceive colors to a limited extent.
Black and white contrasts are the easiest to perceive. After about three months, babies gradually begin to perceive colors.

In this little book, babies are introduced to the work of Fiep Westendorp in simplified but recognizable forms and patterns.
