999 Games Slynx Card Game

In this fast-paced card game, you must collect points by laying down groups of cards. This creates a stack of card groups, such as a group of four cards with the number 2 on top of a group of three cards with the number 9. Every card you manage to lay down in this way is worth one point. But that’s not all! As soon as you have laid down cards, you are allowed to steal cards from your opponent. Any player who has a top group with a number of cards equal to your group, but with a value per card lower than yours, is out of luck. Take these cards and add them to your hand, or force your opponent to remove them themselves. This is how you sabotage each other's point collection. The game isn't called Slynx for nothing! Slynx is a very simple game, yet it is packed with strategy. To score more points, you must take cards from your opponents into your hand. However, the more cards you collect in this way, the greater the risk. As soon as someone has a completely empty hand after laying down their last card, the game is over. All those cards in your hand then automatically turn into penalty points! Game features • Ages 10 and up • 2 to 5 players • Playing time approx. 20 minutes
