The Shiba Inu dog breed was originally bred to hunt birds and small game and was occasionally used to hunt wild boars. It is one of the six native breeds of Japan: Akita (large), Kishu, Hokkaido, Kai, Shikoku (medium), and Shiba (small). It is known for its spirited personality, small upright ears, and cat-like agility. Today, it serves primarily as a companion dog in Japan and the United States. 6.5 x 2.5 x 7 cm
