Veterinarian Daantje and the bandage thief

Daantje wants to be a veterinarian like her father. She already regularly helps him with small tasks and also likes to hide under his desk to learn as much as possible. One day, from under the desk, Daantje witnesses an old woman secretly stealing rolls of bandages and plasters from the treatment room. What does she need them for?
