The vulture from the schleich® WILD LIFE theme world is a fully grown griffon vulture. It is found throughout Europe, North Africa and Asia. The bird of prey prefers to live in open landscapes and in mountainous landscapes with steep cliffs and ravines. It has reddish-brown plumage, black-grey wings and an almost bald neck with a collar of white down. Vultures are very important to the ecosystem. They eat dead animals that could otherwise spread disease. Schleich's figures are faithfully reproduced and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand.
