Hanoverians are very elegant sport horses that excel in the disciplines of dressage and jumping.

Hanoverians have been bred and developed to the highest standards since 1735 (in Germany). The Hanoverian is a typical modern sport horse with an elongated build, i.e. it is a lot longer than it is high. The Hanoverian is characterized by its excellent motor skills and is therefore born for the sport. He can be trained for both dressage and jumping, up to the very highest level, and is seen as eager to learn, attentive and balanced, but also temperamental.
