Teacher Josje and Hakim have been saving up for a trip to Australia. And now it's finally happening! They're going to help out at a koala sanctuary for a week and then enjoy the peace and quiet of nature for another two weeks. No children, because they absolutely won't be allowed to come this time. The koala sanctuary where Teacher Josje and Hakim work is overcrowded, and there are concerns. The forest fires keep flaring up, and the koalas keep coming. All the money is spent on expensive ointment to help their burns heal faster, and the sanctuary might even have to close. And even though she really didn't plan it—really not!—Superjuffie ends up in a dangerous adventure. And the children are with her, even though they're fourteen thousand seven hundred and ninety-three kilometers away...
