A surprise for Frog

Rat returns from a long journey. He has brought a present for Frog. It looks just like an onion… "Can I eat it?" asks Frog. "No," says Rat, "it's a bulb. If you put it in the ground now, you'll get a surprise in the spring." Frog thinks he's been waiting a long time.
