Triple/3 ply macrame yarn made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. This strong macrame cord is ideal for knotting larger projects such as wall hangings, hanging flower baskets, net tote bags etc. Macrame is an ancient technique where you use strong yarn or rope to tie different types of knots, which then form different patterns. You can learn how to make some of these knots with our technique videos. The activity requires almost no tools other than the macrame rope/cord, although it helps to do your knotting projects on a special macrame board/clipboard.

At the end of a project, the ends can be frayed and combed for a different look.
