Talens Gouache Extra Fine is a highly pigmented paint with a matte finish. Although gouache is popular with artists and designers because of its intense and opaque colours, these can be made slightly more transparent by adding water. This gouache is made with a high concentration of high-quality pigments and is based on dextrin, which gives the paint a smooth consistency and reduces gloss.

With gouache you can create even, matte blocks of color without visible brush strokes. Use the colors with water to dilute them, mix them and create streak-free color transitions. Gouache is not waterproof after drying, which means that you can still work on the colors with water after drying.
