Farmer Boris, we want a party!

Farmer Boris, come and have a look in the meadow. There used to be eight sheep and now there's one more! A lamb has been born. Isn't that a reason to celebrate? Farmer Boris doesn't think so. He doesn't have any time at all, because the farm is busy. So what does it take to celebrate? In 2012, the picture book 'Farmer Boris' was published, jointly created by Ted van Lieshout & Philip Hopman. No one could have predicted that this tough little farmer would grow into one of the Netherlands' most beloved children's book characters. 'Farmer Boris, we want a party!' was previously published under the title 'Farmer Boris doesn't want a party!'.
