Amsterdam - Board game

Description
The players are influential Amsterdam merchants at the end of the 19th century. They manufacture all kinds of goods, such as furniture, tiles, and crystal, and store them in warehouses near the harbor, then trade them. By skillfully using cards and choosing dice, they acquire valuable resources. These allow them to occupy blocks of houses, construct important buildings, hire workers, and navigate their ships through the harbor.
Amsterdam is played over 12 rounds, each consisting of four phases. In the first phase, you draw a card from the supply and place it in your personal playing area. In the second phase, all the dice are rolled, and players choose two dice. Each player draws a number of resources from that die, equal to the result. The result indicates how many you can take, but also how long it takes before you can use the resources in a round (spinning wheel). Then, you spin the spinner, receive all the resources for that round, and may perform actions.
There are 8 different actions that can be performed in any order and combination of your choice. Try to capture city blocks and transport the mined resources to the various ports with your freighter. Delivering goods earns you points. These city blocks yield points at the end of the game. Progress on the Amstel River earns you points but also contributes to the order of play in the rounds. Activating cards gives you advantages during your turn but also prevents penalties if you have too many cards under your player board. The goal is to collect as many coins and points as possible. After completing all actions, the round ends, and after 12 rounds, the game ends. The player with the most points wins.
