Description

The Hanoverian is a warmblood breed; warmbloods are a mix of light and heavy horses. It is one of the oldest and most numerous warmbloods. Its history goes back to the 17th century when Spanish, Oriental and Neapolitan stallions were imported to Germany. They were bred to local mares, possibly with warhorse ancestry, and developed the Holsteiner here. 7.5 x 2.5 x 7.8 cm
