Description

The Suffolk Punch Horse was once believed to have descended from the medieval "Great Horse" brought to England by William the Conqueror. They were originally developed for farm work, particularly in Norfolk and Suffolk in the East of England. Farmers bred them specifically for farm life because of their stamina and willingness to work, so there were not many on the market at first. They were also used quite frequently in pulling competitions. 13.5 x 4.5 x 11 cm
