Once it begins to skillfully climb over the rocks, no one can follow. The ibex climbs nimbly through the high mountains. It carefully places its graceful hooves and keeps a close eye on the path. The ibex moves with more confidence than any other animal through the challenging Alpine terrain. It can climb up to 3,500 meters! But to eat, it must seek lower ground. Those lush alpine meadows with delicious herbs are not found at such altitudes.
