The anteater from the Schleich WILD LIFE theme world lives in the savannas and grasslands of Central and South America. This mammal feeds primarily on ants and termites. To retrieve these from their nests, the anteater burrows its long snout into the nest and sticks its 60-cm-long, sticky tongue inside. The insects then stick to its tongue. Anteaters also have a bushy tail, which, thanks to its long bristles, appears larger than it actually is. Schleich figurines are faithfully reproduced and always to scale.
