999 Games Silencio Card Game

Silencio is a fast-paced card game where you must play as many travel cards as possible together. As a team, you embark on a journey through a wondrous world full of forests, swamps, savannahs, and lava. You do this by connecting cards of the same color. But beware: no one is allowed to make a sound! As soon as someone says something, everyone loses. Every travel card you connect must be higher than the previously played card. Furthermore, every card has either a disadvantageous or an advantageous effect. A card that connects directly, such as a red five after a red four, results in a disadvantage. With a card that does not connect directly, you may use the advantageous effect. If you cannot play a card, you must skip your turn. If no one has been able to play a card for an entire round, the game is over. Because you are not allowed to consult with others, you must carefully assess what everyone is doing. Perhaps you play a card that thwarts everyone? Or do you have a good feel for your teammates and do you achieve a top score? The fewer cards you have left, the better!
