Pure Paraffin Wax, 1kg

Paraffin wax granules, 100% refined. The casting compound is perfect for both immersion candles and cast candles. Melt in a water bath at 60-70 degrees and add candle dye. Melt candle wax in a water bath in a pan: pour water into the pan and place a metal or glass melting pan in it. Pour the wax beads into the melting pan and monitor the temperature until they reach the desired temperature (max. 80 °C) using a rod thermometer. Shaped candle temperature: 60 °C. Immersed candle temperature: 70 °C. Wax for melting candles in thermostat-controlled melting pan, available in different sizes: Pour water into the pan, place the melting pan with the wax beads in it and set the temperature on the safety thermostat. Depending on the size of the melting pan, it may take several hours for the wax to completely melt. For large melting pans with a candle wax capacity of 20 to 30 liters, it is advisable to start melting the wax 12 hours before pouring or dipping. Plain candles: add candle dye to the melted paraffin wax in the melting pan and follow the dosing instructions on the candle dye packaging. Add stearin to the wax for a longer burning time, up to a maximum of 15%. Can be used pure or mixed with a maximum of 15% stearin (art. 73410). Melting temperature 60 °C. Recommended immersion temperature: 70°C
